WHO IT'S FOR

The War Dog Wheelchair Program is offered through the United States War Dogs Association, Inc to support retired Military Working Dogs (MWD).

ELIGIBILITY

The first step is verify your canine’s eligibility for the Program.

This program is for you if:

- Your Retired Military Working Dog served time in the Operational Forces and been assigned to a permanent duty station.

- Your veterinarian (vet) believes your retired MWD will benefit from using a wheelchair

HOW TO JOIN

Complete the program application and send it to us, along with a copy of your retired MWD’s adoption paperwork, including a copy of the notarized covenant not to sue.

- Send your documents to us via post or email, using the details below.

- Once we receive your documents and application, you will be entered into our database.

Program Care

Once you are registered in our database, all you need to do is provide us with a completed prescription for a wheelchair from your vet and we will provide your dog with a customized wheelchair.
