Secretary, United States Wardogs Association, Inc. 2010 – Present

Gene was drafted at the end of 1969 and inducted into the United States Army in January, 1970. He went through boot camp and advanced infantry training at Fort Polk, LA. From there, he went onto Fort Benning, GA, where he completed on-leash and off-leash scout dog training. He was sent to Viet Nam in January, 1971, stationed at Camp Eagle, working primarily off-leash with his scout dog, ARGO.

Upon returning home, Gene earned a BA in Psychology and a MA in Counciling from Louisiana Tech University.

He has worked in sales for many years and as a licensed massage therapist in Arkansas after completing his training at White River School of Massage.

Gene joined the United States Wardogs Association after moving to New Jersey in 2006. He has been the Secretary for the organization since 2010.

He lives with his wife, Karen, and their Dalmation.
