Edgar Ramirez

Stewardship Director (online), United States War Dogs Association, Inc.

Edgar Ramirez is currently serving in his 13th year in the United States Marine Corps. He has spent his

entire career within the Military Working Dog (MWD) Program serving in billets such as MWD handler,

trainer, and kennel master. He has been serving as the Marine Corps MWD program chief since 2020.

Edgar was born and raised in Houston, Texas and is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan (next year's Super Bowl!).

He is the first member of his family to serve in the military and graduate college. He is a proud husband

and father of 3. He enjoys traveling, coaching his kid’s soccer team, and dedicating time with his family.

In 2021, Edgar joined the USWDA team by volunteering within the stewardship program which fosters

the relationship between the USWDA and their supporters and donors. Through his role, he is able to

show our appreciation to each and every donor by sending a personal message and making sure their

donation or support does not go unnoticed.
